Nicola Tomlin
I am a Chartered Fellow of the CISI and a Chartered Wealth Manager and I have been looking after clients for over 30 years. I began my career at Charles Stanley and in 2016 I was one of the founding partners of Raymond James, Solent, a branch of Raymond James in Hampshire. The successful growth of that business, and the supportive technology offered by Raymond James, meant that I could move the business closer to home, and so Raymond James Hart came into being in 2019. I am excited to be able to spend less time commuting and more time visiting and looking after my clients, many of whom have become more like friends.
What is important to me?
Integrity, trust, honesty and placing the client at the heart of every decision that we make. I share these guiding tenets with Raymond James which places a huge emphasis on the culture of the firm, this is why I believe that it is the right place for my clients.
In 2018 I was invited to sit on the Advisory Council to the newly launched Raymond James Women in Wealth Management Network which aims to attract, support and retain women in our very male dominated industry, something I feel very passionate about.
Spending time with my husband Clive and daughter Lottie, gardening, photography and music are all important in my life oh, and chocolate, that’s very important too!

I have been working in the financial services industry since 2008 gaining a variety of customer service and financial administration skills. I first met Nicola when I joined Charles Stanley in 2013 and followed her to Raymond James in 2016. I manage the running and administration side of the office. I really enjoy liaising with our clients to solve any queries they may have and the continued growth of the business.
What’s important to me?
Honesty, efficiency and detail! I love solving problems and finding new ways to ensure that we put our clients needs at the heart of our processes. I believe spending time outside is great relaxation, so coastal walks and outdoor photography are both important to me.
Laila Kaddouri
Having graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of London (QMW) I joined the Charles Stanley Private Client Fund Management team in 1995. I helped manage the firm’s clients within this department until my departure in December 2004 and my subsequent move to the United Arab Emirates. While away from the UK I volunteered at the British School in Abu Dhabi and worked within the Corporate Head Office of Rotana Hotels undertaking a number of project based initiatives, sector research and data collection.
I first met Nicola when I started at Charles Stanley and am extremely excited at the opportunity to be working with her again in such a progressive firm as Raymond James.
What is important to me?
Empathy, Integrity and sincerity in behaviour and attitude to work are values I hold dear.
Family life keeps me busy especially my teenage daughter Alia and our two lively rescue dogs, Ben and Jasper, whom we brought back with us on our return to the UK. As well as being passionate about animal welfare I have a strong interest in British history and as such love visiting historic places where ever we go!
