Richard Fowler began his career in 1989, in the City with UBS Phillips & Drew.  After leaving London in 1994 he spent time at Albert E Sharp and Charles Stanley where he first met Nicola.  Based in and around Gloucestershire he manages portfolios for Private Clients, charities and trusts either directly, or in conjunction with clients’ other professional advisers.  Richard joined Raymond James South Cotswolds Office in 2017.

Richard is married with three teenage children (and two terriers) and in any spare time he is keen to explore the Cotswolds by motorcycle.  A one-time youth football coach, he now helps to run a local football club.

James Maltin is the Founder of Ridgeway Investment Management. Prior to establishing Ridgeway, James spent time at Rathbones and HSBC.  James is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and a graduate of the University of Durham, where he holds a joint honours degree in Philosophy and Theology. He also has a Master’s degree in Finance from the London Business School.

James is a keen cyclist and in the months prior to establishing Ridgeway he cycled 6,500 miles around Italy, France and Spain before cycling from Paris to Calais, kayaking across the Channel and then running back to London from Dover, all to raise funds for the Centre for Clinical Haematology at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, which treats patients with leukaemia.
